Painting Classes

​

1. The FAAE instructor converts color photos into black and white images.  He then selects images that will potentially be used to create one or more memory games.

 

2. Seniors use watercolor and/or acrylic paint to colorize the images.

 

3. The instructor uses the best senior paintings to create memory games.

Distributing Games

​

1. FAAE staff package games in boxes embellished with senior artwork.

 

2. The instructor pilots the games at various senior activity centers.

 

3. Approved games are distributed free of charge to cognitively impaired residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and memory care centers.

 

4. The instructor guides cognitively impaired residents through memory games.

 

Costs

​

Expenses for each set of memory games, from the initial painting class to final distribution, run around $600.
